With respect to marijuana artwork reproductions, our intention at Ganja Outpost is to provide you, my like-minded, valued customers, with a high quality reproduction of the marijuana artwork that was originally created to reflect different periods of Skip's pot smuggling career during the 1970's. The artwork was originally commissioned in the 1970's for marijuana t-shirts for what Skip believed to be the impending legalization of cannabis. Although history went in the opposite direction with respect to legalization, the artwork is still as moving as it was at its creation. All of our artwork has been re-created using what is know as the Giclee Printing Process.
Our Marijuana Giclees, correctly pronounced "Zhee-clay", combines the use of the most advanced technologies in digital printing to make a high quality replication of the original artwork.
At Ganja Outpost, we offer various types of Marijuana Giclee prints for our customers. The prints are broken down according first to the quality of paper or canvas that will be printed and second with respect to sizing. At Ganja Outpost, we offer two styles of paper for the Marijuana Giclee prints:
- Archival Watercolor Art Paper - Paper that is acid-free insuring the perfect reproduction using archival pigment inks. This paper resists the effects of yellowing and loss of artwork vibrancy. Comes unframed and cut for framing purposes.
- Archival Fine Art Canvas - Canvas that holds original quality reproductions on a stronger, more durable medium. Is produced unframed and is cut to frame.
The selections of the papers and canvas that we use to produce our art reproductions are acid free mediums which help to ensure lasting high quality in the artwork. In conjunction with this, the water-based inks that are used in the process of printing help to make the artwork sustainable for over 100 years.
Please feel free to contact Ganja Outpost if you have any questions regarding Ganja Outpost Marijuana Giclee's.
