After his many years on boats all over the Caribbean, Skip finally dropped anchor on the wonderful island of Maui for the first time in 1973. Like so many sailors before him, he was completely enchanted with the the Valley Isle. A planned three day excursion turned into a three month sojourn and before long Maui was home.

This piece of art was created out of respect to the "mana", that is the magic, of the island of Maui.
